Is This REALLY a Health Literacy Issue???

I'm concealing the name of this #MD. Not to prevent embarrassing him--though frankly comparing #healthcare to handyman services is a head shaker.
Mostly because he is really representative of a #system (in both the US and Canada) that focuses on making #patients "better advocates" rather than creating a thoughtful, universally designed system that is proactive, transparent and responsive to the needs of the people it serves.

I don't need an electrical engineer degree to turn on a light switch so why should I have a degree in pharma pricing and cost/benefit analysis?
Patients aren't the problem of #healthcare
They are its #purpose
We need to "flip the script" on #patientengagement and #healthliteracy
Reach out if you need help figuring out how to do this.
